WHAT IS CYSEC ?

Calcutta Youth Self-Employment Centre (CYSEC) is a registered non profit service organisation promoting self-employment programmes and developing entrepreneurial skill amongst the under-privileged and unemployed youth of the State through a packaged programme of assistances including skill training, business management training, preparation of project report and marketing assistance both at its urban training centre at Barisha, Kolkata and through Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Programme camps conducted in the rural areas of West Bengal.

AIR-CONDITIONER & REFRIGERATOR SECTION

Participants would be able to carry out the minor & major repairs & servicing of machineries and installation of Split & Room Air-Conditioner.

COMPUTER MAINTENANCE (HARDWARE) & NET WORKING SECTION

The Candidates would be able to repair computer up to card level, assembling computer& installing the peripheral devices & different operating systems, install different types of software on computers & teach terminal competency, establish peer to peer, client server connection.

ELECTRICAL WIREMANSHIP SECTION

The candidates would be able to draw the wiring, fault findings of electrical lines and also repair of power connection, power supply and all sorts of electrical gadgets/devices.

TAILORING SECTION (for Ladies & Gents)

Participants would be able to design, draft, cut and sew various garments with necklines, sleeves, collar in different styles as per market trends.

TEELEPHONE & MOBILE SET SECTION

After completion of the training, participants would be able to repair & maintain of all types of Cellular/Mobile Phone & circuits.

TWO-WHEELER SECTION

Successful candidates would be able to carry out minor & major repairs & maintenance & routine servicing of Two-Wheelers.

There are four session in a year.

The training centre is located on Biren Roy Road (West), Chowrasta, Barisha, Kolkata – 700008.
